Advanced Innovations Ltd (AI) is headquartered in Limerick, Ireland and has subsidiaries and offices in the USA, Canada, China and India. In addition AI has design services partners in Ireland and India and manufacturing partners in China, Ireland and the US.
AI can trace its history back to 1986. It grew out of the merger of two CEMs. The new entity, Advanced Innovations Limited, was formed in 2003 and it subsequently included the acquisition of a third CEM. The merger and acquisition were designed to give the company scale to compete, but the success of the Irish economy meant that the synergies gained through the earlier merger and acquisition were rapidly eroded by an increasing cost base in Ireland.
The company successfully undertook a major change in strategy in 2005 which resulted in the transformation of its core business model to become an international supplier of Innovation Support and Supply Chain services.
The Company has made a significant investment in technology, which and enables global project collaboration and aggregates and analyzes data from multiple sources for internal and external users in real time to deliver on-line reporting and querying functionality. It enables workflow customization around customers’ and supply chain partners’ needs.
AI has differentiated itself and achieved considerable success by combining manufacturing and design expertise in low cost regions with high levels of local market service. It continues to strengthen its infrastructure in Europe, the US, China and India on the basis of strong commercial relationships that enable it to offer its customers fast, flexible and cost-effective solutions.
