Robert O'Donnell

Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer

Robert is a co-founder and CEO of Advanced Innovations, which was established in Ireland in 2003. Robert has led the transition of the organization from a local electronic contract manufacturing company to become a global provider of electronics supply-chain solutions that encompass product design, build and delivery to customers across Asia, Europe and North America. Under his stewardship AI has rapidly moved from the realm of Contract Electronics Manufacturing (CEM) through Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) into the world in which it orchestrates a global network to deliver electronic product design and supply chain solutions to its customers. Under Robert's leadership the company has achieved significant sales and geographical expansion in each of the last five years with Sales Turnover in 2010 expected to exceed US$70m.

A financial accountant, Robert has spent his entire career in the multi-national supply chain services industry. He commenced his career with the US multi-national, Methode Electronics where he ultimately held the position of Deputy Financial Controller. From there he joined the start-up management team of the Keytech Group. In his role of SVP Global Operations he played a leading role in developing Keytech from small beginnings into an international organization with seven manufacturing facilities based in Ireland, USA, Malaysia and China and with a gloabl workforce of in excess of 1,000 people.He joined MTS Ireland as Managing Director in 2002 and subsequently led the management team in an MBO that ultimately formed Advanced Innovations in 2003. Robert is currently based at AI's North American HQ in Alexandria, Va.
